An outstanding framework of solid and defined strength with spice and dark fruit characters of Shiraz. This is further supported by Grenache that provides supple but real flesh and beautiful aromatics of concentrated red berries. The ink-black Cabernet of 2002 adds length and finish and its natural tannins lock the package together seamlessly. A palate of moccha/chocolate with a hint of fine leather meld into the wine to complete a great vintage for Hattrick. This wine is great now and will remain so for the next 10-15 years.         | ||
