| The Winery Eden Hall Wines are nestled in the rolling hills of the Eden Valley, regarded by many as "the jewel in the crown" of the Barossa Valley, where the vines enjoy a long, cool ripening period. The Eden Hall property dates back to the 1840's when the Eden Valley was first settled and from its own vineyards the very best parcels of fruit are reserved for picking at optimum flavour. |
The Wine The wine is crafted by consulatant winemaker James (Jim) Irvine, one of the Barossa's legends with over 50 years experience in making quality wines. Jim successfully maintains the individuality of the vineyard and the Eden Valley region in bringing forth its strengths and rewards. The 2003 Eden Hall Cabernet Sauvignon shows a voluminous bouquet of leafiness, violets, spicy French and American oak overlaying the richness of perfectly ripened fruit, finishing with full flavour and abundant rounded tannins. A wine of power yet elegance with great rewarding potential. |

| The wine shows a voluminous bouquet of leafiness, violets, spicy French and American oak overlaying the richness of perfectly ripened fruit, finishing with full flavour and abundant rounded tannins. A wine of power yet elegance with great rewarding potential. It is not as heavy as some cabernet for cooler regions with a bouquet of blackberry that follows through to a sweet pleasant palate with great length. | ||
